Believe God's Promises

It is God’s desire to see His children walking in divine health, enjoying the life that He created them to live, but so many of us spend our lives harboring hurts, bitterness, anger, rejection, unforgiveness, low self-worth, shame etc. Unfortunately many of these issues stem from situations during childhood or while in the womb, and now are being manifested throughout life, causing havoc in our families and societies. These emotional feelings are kept buried to numb the pain by using masks such as alcohol, drugs, money, power, sex, position. Jesus reminded us that that "Satan came to kill, steal , and destroy, but he came to give life more abundantly."(John 10:10).When Jesus was about to leave his disciples, He told them that all power is given unto Him, and He was now delegating power to them. Those who know their God are no longer living in the Kingdom of darkness, but are now transported into the kingdom of Light. So God is asking us to make a choice, choose life. Jesus came to restore the Kingdom back to man, to teach us how to appropriate the finished work so we can walk in power and authority as citizens of the Kingdom of God.

As we look around us, we see the devastation of human lives, angry, insecure, and hurt

children, becoming teenagers destroying their lives and others, and then and as they

grow into adulthood, the cycle continues. Why? The question is asked, could it

be that man really do not know that Jesus Christ, the Son of God brought complete

Shalom to us when He gave up His life on the cross? Could it be that they do not

fully understand how much God the Father loves them? He said "I have loved you with

an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness.” Jeremiah 31:3

Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for us gives us the privilege to appropriate the fullness of

the gift of salvation which includes healing.

When you take on God’s nature, you should no longer fall prey to ungodly signals trying

to attract your attention. Our Balm in Gilead forgives and heals, and loves

unconditionally. Meditate on this verse, and thank our loving father for what he has made available to us.

Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s (psalms 103:2-5)

Blessings, Shalom

Norma
